Most iPhones fill up the same way: a burst of near-identical shots, a few long videos, years of screenshots and Live Photos you never play. Shiny finds all of that and shows it to you in one place, so you can decide what goes.
What Shiny finds
- Duplicate photos: exact copies and near-identical shots, with the best one suggested to keep.
- Similar screenshots: screenshots of the same screen, and old ones you probably don't need.
- Blurry photos: out-of-focus pictures, plus pocket shots that came out black or white.
- Videos: the largest first, duplicate videos, slow-mo, time-lapses and screen recordings.
- Live Photos: turn the ones you don't need moving into still photos, keeping date, place and albums.
- Chat screenshots: screenshots of WhatsApp, Instagram and Messages conversations.
- iCloud Drive duplicates: duplicate files in a folder you choose, matched by their content.
- Duplicate contacts: cards for the same person, merged with a preview and a backup first.

Nothing is deleted until you say so
Results are grouped, with the best photo of each group suggested to keep. You can compare a group side by side, then confirm it, mark it as "not duplicates" or skip it. Deleted photos and videos go to Recently Deleted in Photos for 30 days, and contacts are backed up before every merge or delete.
Private by design
Everything is analysed on your device. Nothing is uploaded, there's no account, and the App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected".
Free to scan
Every scan and every result is free, along with side-by-side compare and up to 20 cleanups a day. Shiny Pro removes the daily limit. The FAQ has the details.
